Ritzy 2026 Product Update: Stock Requests, Liner Agency, ZATCA & More

Every Ritzy product is built from real customer workflows — not from a feature wishlist drafted in a conference room. The 2026 updates reflect what our users across Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Hong Kong, India, and Australia have been asking for. Here is what has shipped recently, and why it matters.

Ritzy Comfort: Stock Request & RFQ Workflow

The headline addition to Ritzy Comfort is a complete Stock Request and Request for Quotation (RFQ) workflow. This replaces the informal process that most trading companies still rely on — phone calls, emails, and sticky notes that get lost between the warehouse floor and the purchasing desk.

How the workflow runs

Any authorised user can raise a stock request from within the system. The request links directly to the inventory master, so item codes, descriptions, and current stock levels are visible immediately — no guessing whether something is already on the shelf.

Requests then route to the appropriate approver. Managers can approve, adjust quantities, or reject with comments. Once approved, the request converts into an RFQ that can be sent to multiple suppliers for comparison.

When a winning quotation is selected, it converts into a purchase order with one click. Item details, quantities, and agreed prices carry over without re-typing. From there, the standard purchasing flow takes over: goods receipt, invoice matching, and payment.

Why this matters

Every purchase now traces back to an approved request. Management has full visibility into what has been requested, what is pending, and what has been ordered. The audit trail runs from the initial request through to the final payment — every step logged with timestamps and user IDs.

Other Ritzy Comfort improvements

  • Enhanced stock forecasting — reorder-point reports now factor in lead times, pending purchase orders, and outstanding sales orders for more accurate demand planning.
  • Barcode scanning at every stage — goods receipt, stock transfers, physical stock counts, and sales all support barcode input, reducing manual entry errors.
  • Product assembly tracking — assembly journals record raw material consumption and finished goods output, keeping inventory valuations accurate for manufacturers and kit-builders.
  • Advanced pivot analytics — new pivot tables for sales, purchases, product movement, and departmental performance let managers slice data without exporting to spreadsheets.

Ritzy Shipping: Liner Agency, Marine & Ship Chandling

Ritzy Shipping has always handled ocean freight, air freight, and land transport. The 2026 updates expand the product into three specialised areas that many of our Gulf-based clients operate in alongside traditional forwarding.

Liner Agency

For companies acting as agents for shipping lines, Ritzy Shipping now includes dedicated liner agency operations:

  • Container tracking — monitor container status, release, and return across ports with real-time updates.
  • Bill of Lading reconciliation — match BL data against carrier records to catch discrepancies before they become disputes.
  • Discharge sheets and carrier integration — import and manage discharge data from major carriers.
  • Import and export operations — separate workflows for inbound and outbound liner cargo, each with their own documentation and costing.

Marine Services

The marine services module covers vessel-related operations for companies providing port services, husbandry, and agency work:

  • Vessel management — track vessels, appointments, and port calls in a single database.
  • Proforma disbursement accounts (DA) — generate proforma DAs for vessel calls and reconcile against actual costs.
  • Activity and charge management — define service types, charge structures, and billing rules that match how marine services are actually priced.
  • Marine whiteboard — a visual overview of vessel schedules, current status, and pending activities.

Ship Chandling

Ship chandling — supplying provisions, stores, and equipment to vessels — has its own inventory and delivery requirements. Ritzy Shipping now supports chandling operations within the same system, so stock, purchasing, and vessel delivery all share one database with the accounting ledger.

ZATCA E-Invoicing Compliance (Saudi Arabia)

Saudi Arabia's ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority) has been progressively rolling out mandatory e-invoicing requirements. Ritzy now includes built-in ZATCA integration across all products:

  • Automatic e-invoice generation — compliant XML invoices are generated directly from the billing workflow, with no manual intervention.
  • Certificate management — generate, store, and renew ZATCA compliance certificates from within the system.
  • Phase 2 ready — the integration module supports the clearance and reporting requirements of ZATCA Phase 2, so businesses operating in Saudi Arabia can comply without third-party add-ons.

This is especially relevant for our shipping and trading clients in the Gulf who need their ERP to handle Saudi tax compliance alongside operations in Qatar, Bahrain, and the UAE.

Ritzy Payroll: Leave Management & Document Tracking

The Ritzy Payroll add-on — available across all products — has received several enhancements:

  • Leave management — a complete leave master and transaction system for tracking annual, sick, and other leave types with balances and approval workflows.
  • Document expiry tracking — visas, work permits, labour cards, and other employee documents are tracked with expiry dates and automated alerts before renewal deadlines.
  • Timesheet posting — timesheets can now be posted directly to payroll processing, connecting attendance data to salary calculation without manual reconciliation.
  • Worksite and location management — for companies with staff across multiple sites, payroll now tracks which employees are assigned where, and reports can be filtered accordingly.
  • Financial dashboard — a dedicated payroll dashboard shows salary summaries, outstanding loans, attendance patterns, and month-on-month trends.

Ritzy Real Estate: Facilities & Maintenance Improvements

Ritzy Real Estate continues to evolve for property management companies in the Gulf and Australia:

  • Amenities and facilities management — track amenity usage, charges, and transactions at the unit or building level.
  • Accrued income posting — recognise revenue correctly for long-term leases with automated accrual journal entries.
  • Enhanced tenant search — find tenants, contracts, and properties faster with multi-field search across the entire portfolio.
  • Agent commission management — calculate, track, and refund agent commissions tied to specific tenancy contracts.

Cross-Product: What Every Ritzy User Gets

Several improvements apply to all Ritzy products regardless of which module you use:

  • Data import and export — import master data and transactions from Excel and XML files, and export reports in multiple formats.
  • Enhanced user permissions — granular access control at the form, field, and action level, with user groups for easier management.
  • Multi-currency converter — updated currency conversion with support for daily rate tables and historical lookups.
  • Reminder and calendar system — set reminders for follow-ups, renewals, and deadlines that appear on the dashboard.
  • Report Central — a unified report browser for all modules, with print preview, export, and email delivery options.

What Comes Next

We are actively working on a modernisation programme that will bring Ritzy to the web — a new interface built for browsers and mobile devices, while preserving the depth and reliability that our desktop users depend on. More on that in a future post.

In the meantime, all of the features described above are available now in the current release. Existing customers on active support plans receive these updates automatically. New customers get three months of free support with every licence.
