Product Update

What’s New in Ritzy ERP: November 2026

What has changed in Ritzy ERP? Quite a lot since our last update. Here is everything that has reached the product, module by module. Updates reach every subscription as they ship, for the modules you run. The screens below use made-up sample data.

A New Look, the Same Everywhere

  • One look across every module. A coloured band heads each screen, every dashboard uses the same summary tiles, and the sidebar, module buttons and sign-in page have been refreshed.
  • Every list works the same way. The same toolbar, the same row icons in the same order and the same 25 / 50 / 100 pager. Double-click opens the record, and a click marks the current row.
  • One set of buttons. Each verb has one icon, and every report screen runs and prints the same way.
  • Easier to read. Read-only fields are now dark text on white rather than faded grey.

Accounts

  • Statements workbench. Choose the report, set the options on the left and work through the accounts across the full width of the screen. Print Preview produces the statement without a separate Run.
  • Bill-wise allocation everywhere. Allocate a saved voucher’s header account, a journal line or a statement row against the party’s open items, with exchange-difference journals kept in step.
  • Multi-currency allocation reworked, with the voucher-currency amount shown on the transaction list. Bills dated after the voucher are no longer offered.
  • Year-End Process. A three-step wizard under Tools opens the next financial year, with a period for each month and voucher numbering carried on.
  • Opening balances in reports. Reports now show the financial year’s opening balances, and voucher header discounts post to the discount accounts.
  • Reports you can open up. Balance Sheet, P&L and Trial Balance open expanded or collapsed, and clicking a heading folds or opens that group. Print and CSV follow the screen.
  • Cancelled, never deleted. A saved transaction is cancelled rather than removed, and shows in red. A master in use cannot be deleted.

Faster Data Entry

  • Master quick-add. A + beside the dropdown adds a customer, item or other master from the form you are on, across Inventory, Accounts, Real Estate, CRM and Payroll. It respects the user’s right to add.
  • CSV import for masters. Tools → Import, or the Import button on a master screen. A full dry run reports required fields, duplicates, existing records to skip or update, and codes it could not match, before anything is saved.

Shipping and Logistics

  • Automatic milestones. Templates apply themselves to Cargo, Liner, Transport and Marine jobs. Saving a job, recording a container event or raising an invoice brings them up to date. Where an estimated date has passed, Ritzy asks before marking it done.
  • A customer tracking link. Give the customer a link to a job’s progress, and revoke it whenever you like. It shows no charges, remarks or planned dates, and never another customer’s name on a shared voyage.
  • Ritzy Track now finds Transport and Marine jobs as well.

CRM

  • A more colourful CRM. Coloured summary tiles on the board and the dashboard, and each stage keeps one colour on the board, list, lead drawer and dashboard.
  • AI Paste adds the customer. Paste an enquiry and it picks the customer on file, or offers to add a new one when the lead is created. On the web board and the CRM phone app.
  • Longer lead notes, so pasted enquiries are no longer cut short.

Payroll

  • Print All payslips for the month from Salary Process, all in one go.

Support

  • Talk to a person. Press the button in the Support panel, on the web or any phone app, and a member of the Ritzy team joins the same conversation. If nobody is free, it says so.
  • Files and screenshots can go both ways during a live chat.
  • Phone notifications when we join or reply.

Subscriptions

  • Pay from inside Ritzy. Subscription & Billing shows your plan, seats and invoices, and pays by PayPal.
  • Billed per company database. Each database is licensed on its own, with quarterly and half-yearly cycles available.

Under the Hood

  • PostgreSQL 18. Ritzy ERP now runs on PostgreSQL, on Windows Server or in Docker on Linux. The installer sets it up for you, and the DBA console handles backups.
  • Moving from Ritzy 7. The DBA console imports a whole company from a Ritzy 7 desktop database, attachments included, and reports anything it had to leave out.
  • Stronger for many users at once. Seat limits hold under simultaneous sign-ins, and sign-out now sticks.
  • Tighter rights. Adding, editing and deleting a master are checked on the server as well as on the screen.
